
The annual rabies clinic will be held Saturday, April 6 10 to 11 a.m. at the Town of Norton Fire Department, 70 E. Main Street.
The cost will be $13 per animal. Dogs must be on leashes and cats must be in carriers.

For your convenience, the Town Clerk's Office will also be open from 10 to 11 a.m. to process dog licenses. The base fee for an altered dog is $10 and an unaltered dog is $15; late fees will apply.
The last day to license dogs without incurring late fees was Feb. 28 and thus late fees will be applied. Late fees are $5 for the first month and $1 for each following month until the dog is licensed.

The only requirement for licensing dogs is that the rabies vaccination be active at the time of licensing, not for the entire year, thus any participants of the rabies clinic could license their dog prior to March 1 and avoid incurring late fees.
Unless licensing a new dog, the appropriate late fees will be added to the base fees listed above.
