RI Woman Arrested for Drug Possession During Traffic Stop
She was initially pulled over for a defective taillight.

A Pawtucket, RI, woman was charged with drug possession during a traffic stop on South Washington Street in Norton on Thursday.
Police pulled over Galynda Daniels, 40, of East Avenue, Pawtucket, because of a defective taillight. Police noticed pills in an unlabeled pill bottle in the passenger compartment.
“After further investigation, Daniels was found to be illegally in possession of Suboxone and Hydrocodone. After Daniels was placed under arrest, she was transported to the Norton police station where she is being held on $200 cash bail,” said Norton Police.

Daniels was charged by Norton Police with possession of a class C substance (Hydrocodone), possession of a class B substance (Suboxone), possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute (Suboxone) and operating a motor vehicle with defective equipment.
