Agenda for the Board of Selectmen, July 24
Highlights from the agenda for the Board of Selectmen meeting.

The Norwood Board of Selectmen will meet in room 34 of Town Hall. Here are the highlights from issues on tonight's agenda:
- Ronald J. Maggio, Acting Chief of the NFD will be submitting communication advising that he has been acting chief for three months and thought an interim chief should be appointed.
- Phyllis McDonough, Chairwoman of the Norwood Housing Authority will be submitting notification that Mary Lou Fitzpatrick has resigned from the Housing Authority, and requests to meet with the Board to appoint a new member.
- Stephen M. Costello, Director Community Planning & Economic Development will be submitting notification that the Town was not awarded the FY 2012 Community Block Grant. He intends to file another application for the FY 2013 CDBG program. He will also be submitting an invoice from the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce requesting $7,500. Costello recommends that the Board only approve 50 percent of the invoice so that there will be monies left in the EDC account that can be used on other projects.
- William Kinsman, Chairman PBCC, will be requesting support for reserve fund transfer of $33,650 for Town Hall project and to refer the Board’s approval to the Finance Committee.
- The Board will be going into Executive Session at 8 p.m. to discuss the "physical condition or mental health of an employee."
