Cedar Market Gets Liquor License Suspension

The violation is the second for the store in nine months, but they have passed subsequent checks, police said.

NORWOOD, MA — A local grocery store will be unable to sell alcohol for two days following a liquor license violation.

The selectmen voted Tuesday to suspend Cedar Market's liquor license, with the suspension to be served June 1 and 2. The suspension follows the sale of alcohol to an underage operative working with Norwood Police, according to the Norwood Transcript and Bulletin.

The violation is the second for the store in nine months, but they have passed subsequent checks, police said.
