Sky Spa Brings Signature Style, Products to Norwood

A brand new nail salon and spa is opening in Norwood this weekend, offering signature services with customized products and a bright, modern space.

Owners Hon and Xuan Thang, of Quincy, said that the focus for the new Sky Spa is the comfort and peace of mind of their clients.

"We use all top products," Xuan said. The pair also pointed out their medical-grade sterilization system, and individual use items such as nail files and buffers.

"Our priority is being safe for the clients," Xuan said.

The pedicure stations even make use of pipeless jets, Hon noted, to avoid bacteria that can build up in other piped systems.

Offerings include manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials and other spa treatments. Sky Spa will also offer packages for bridal parties and other groups, and seasonal treatments.

Updating and opening the location took eight months, the couple said. The project began in January of this year. Xuan said that she has family in the area, and that Norwood seemed a great community to open their first business.

The grand opening Saturday will include 20 percent off for all customers, and will begin at 1 p.m. Usual business hours will be 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We put all our dreams and thoughts of what a spa should be in here," Xuan said.

Sky Spa is located at 451 Walpole St.
