Norwood Delays Trash Pickup Due To Weekend Blizzard By One Day
There will be no trash or recycling pickup on Monday. Pickup will be late by one day on subsequent days this week.
NORWOOD, MA - Due to the blizzard Saturday, the Town of Norwood announced that there will be no trash or recycling pick up or bulk pickup on Monday, and collection will be delayed for one day each day this week.
Waste Management, the trash contractor, has decided that it's best to delay for all of its area communities to allow further storm cleanup for the safety of drivers and residents. Trash and recycling pickup are delayed by one day for the entire week.
The blizzard dumped 19.5 inches of snow in Norwood, according to NBC 10 Boston.
