Norwood Man Arrested In Boston On Weapon, Drug Charges
A Norwood man was one of two people arrested Wednesday night during a traffic stop by Boston Police.

BOSTON, MA — A Norwood man was one of two people arrested Wednesday night during a traffic stop by Boston Police.
At about 8:11 p.m., police conducted a stop as part of an investigation in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Culbert Street in Mattapan. Following an investigation, it was discovered that the driver of the car, Dakym Murray, 24, of Haverhill, allegedly possessed heroin and cocaine along with eight live rounds of ammunition. The rear passenger, Jameel Sadler, 24, of Norwood, was allegedly found to be in possession of a Springfield Armory .45 Caliber firearm loaded with 7 live rounds of ammunition and in possession of cocaine.
Both suspects were arrested and were scheduled to be arraigned in Dorchester Municipal Court. Murray will be charged with unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of Class A and B drugs with intent to distribute. Sadler was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and possession with intent to distribute Class B drugs, according to the Boston Police Department.
