Anthony J. Yelapi of Norwood, passed away August 4, at age 85. Loving son of the late Andrea J. and Giovanna (Bretti) Yelapi. Beloved father of Debra F. Sheehan and husband Mark of Norwood, Kevin Yelapi and wife Karen of Middleboro, and Anthony Yelapi and wife Laurie of Brockton. Brother of John, Andrew and Joseph Yelapi all of Norwood, Robert Yelapi of Walpole, Rose Patton of CA, Mary Grandinetti of NJ, Frances Webster of Norwood, Joan Haley of Yarmouth, Elizabeth McNeil of Foxboro, and the late Barbara Miller and Joseph Yelapi. Also survived by 9 grandchidren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine's of Siena Church, Norwood. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood.

The Norwood Police Department regrets to announce the death of retired Patrolman Anthony Yelapi. Appointed to the department in 1961, Tony served the town faithfully and conscientously until his retirement in 1988. We extend our sympathy to his family and friends.
