Eleanor McCarthy (1921-2012)

McCarthy, Eleanor Grace (Pusateri), 91, a lifetime resident of Norwood, died on Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

Eleanor was the devoted wife of the late Paul Francis McCarthy, beloved mother of Eleanor M. Marcelli of Massachusetts, Ruth Ann Murphy of FL and NH, Janice Schulz of Franklin, Paul Michael McCarthy of Boston, and Maureen Birnie of MI, dear sister of Ann and Betty Pusateri, both of Norwood, the late Florence Frazetti, Josephine McCarthy, Dorothy DeRose, Mary DeRoche, Michael Pusateri and John Pusateri, cherished grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 14 and aunt of several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the the Gillooly Funeral Home, on Friday, August 17, from 4-8 p.m. The funeral will begin at the Gillooly Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood.

Grace E. Flaherty (1924-2012)

Grace E. (Walver) Flaherty of Norwood, died August 12, 2012.

Beloved wife of the late James E. Flaherty; loving mother of James J. Flaherty and his wife Lynne of E. Walpole, Nancy Macaulay and her husband Francis of Norwood, Robert J. Flaherty and his wife Mary of Norwood, Richard P. Flaherty and his wife Elaine of E. Walpole, and Janice M. Lazzaro and her husband Antonio of Norwood; cherished grandmother of Kelly MacKinnon of Walpole, Brian Azzola of Norwood, Steven Macaulay of Norwood, Kerriann Macaulay of Norwood, Andrea Flaherty of Walpole, Kristin Flaherty of Norton, Bobby Flaherty of Norwood, Robert Flaherty of Providence, RI, Heather Robillard of Bridgewater, Kevin Flaherty of E. Walpole, Daniel Flaherty of E. Walpole, and Antonio Lazzaro of Norwood; proud great-grandmother of Keira MacKinnon, John Flaherty, Liliana Grace Flaherty, and Meghan Robillard. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Flaherty, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17 at 9 a.m. from the Gillooly Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, August 16 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
