Norwood Police Log: Flowers Taken from Common, Hit and Run

Monday, July 16

1:07 p.m. - Caller reported a white female in a black dress took flowers from the Town Common, now standing at the MBTA bus stop. Officers spoke to woman, flowers not able to be replanted, advised woman not to do so anymore.

1:51 p.m. - Caller on Jefferson Dr. reported identity used falsely to purchase a phone. Police filed a report.

9:41 p.m. - Officer received information of two white males, possibly doing drugs on a Day St. bench. Responding officers reported no illegal activity.

10:11 p.m. - Caller on Heaton Ave. reported parked, unoccupied vehicle struck while owner was in a restaurant. Police checked the area for suspect vehicle but had no description. Officers filed a report.
