Wednesday, July 25 11:00 a.m. - Caller at Home Depot on Boston-Providence Highway reported shoplifter, no identification. Police filed a report. 6:15 p.m. - Caller reported larceny from a family member on St. James Ave. Police filed a report. 6:34 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident with injury at Boston-Providence Highway and Morse St. Norwood Fire responded, two vehicles towed from the scene. Police filed a report. 7:03 p.m. - Officer removed five syringes from the sidewalk on Pleasant Pl. 9:38 p.m. - Caller reported past vandalism to a motor vehicle on Spruce Rd. Police filed a report. 11:51 p.m. - Caller reported possible fight in the street at Washington St. and Folan Ave. Responding officers reported incident verbal in nature between two groups of kids. All sent on their way, except one taken into protective custody and delivered to home in Westwood.
