Norwood Restaurants Will Participate In Celebrate Restaurant Week

Sponsored by the Neponset River Regional Chamber, several Norwood restaurants decided to participate in the regional event from April 24-28.

NORWOOD, MA - The Neponset River Regional Chamber is sponsoring the second annual “Regional Restaurant Week” from April 24 through April 28.

“Everyone knows that restaurants have suffered greatly during the pandemic," said Chamber President Tom O’Rourke. "We are eager to encourage everyone to dine out during Restaurant Week and of course to continue doing so afterwards.”

A dedicated “Regional Restaurant Week” webpage has been created for the Chamber's website. It lists all participating restaurants, their special offers, and links to their websites.

A social media campaign will be executed using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Diners will be encouraged to post selfies on their social media platforms as they dine out in order to win gift cards to local restaurants. Post a photo on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn and tag @nrrchamber and use #regionalrestaurantweek to enter the contest.

In addition to Norwood, restaurants are participating in Canton, Westwood and Walpole.

“We are excited to have the state resources to promote and assist local businesses and look forward toworking with our partners Friends of Norwood Center, Dedham Square Circle and Destination Downtown in Walpole," said O'Rourke. "We hope residents from Norwood and surrounding communities come out that week to support our local restaurants and partake in the specials they offer.”

Established in 1894, the Neponset River Regional Chamber serves the needs of businesses in a
12-town region stretching from Route 128 to Route 495 southwest of Boston. The NRRC
supports the business community and economic development efforts by providing leadership,
advocacy and opportunities for expanded and enhanced relationships among business,
government and the community.
