The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for much of Central and Eastern Massachusetts until 9 p.m. Wednesday. According to the NWS, Norwood can expect possible thunderstorms after 5 p.m., with rain showers predicted before that. NWS predicts southern New England will see the worst of the hazardous weather. The storms could break the heat. A low temperature of 67 degrees is expected in Norwood this evening. The high temperature tomorrow shouldn't exceed 85, according to forecasts.
