Trespassing, Failure To Stop For Police: Norwood Police Log

July 24

7:33 a.m. - An off-duty officer reported a black Honda traveling in northbound breakdown lane with a driver that was tossing items out of his car at passing motorists. The driver then used the turnaround to head south and disappear. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

11:15 p.m. - A trespasser was reported at CVS on Nahatan Street. David Trusevitch Jr., 37, homeless, was arrested and charged with trespassing.

July 25

9:55 p.m. - During a traffic stop near Walgreens on Route 1, Leandro De Souza, 43, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

July 27

1:27 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Route 1 near Dean Street, Precious Salter-Williams, 28, of North Attleboro, was arrested and charged with failure to stop for police, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

2:01 a.m. - A drunk person in the lobby of the Four Points Sheraton on Route 1 was taken into protective custody.
