Trespassing, Multiple Check Fraud Charges: Norwood Police Log

The following is from the Norwood Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

August 20

7:30 a.m. - A caller reported a man at Conrad’s on Washington Street opening and stealing liquor. Dermont O’Brien, 56, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering.

9:04 a.m. - A caller reported an intoxicated woman behind Washarma on Washington Street. The woman, Amy Walker, 37, homeless, was arrested and charged with trespassing.

1:10 p.m. - Dennis Ferullo, 47, of Peabody, was arrested at Republic Plumbing Supply on Route 1 and charged with four counts of larceny by check over $1,200, seven counts of uttering a false check,
aggravated witness/juror/police/court official intimidation, and three counts of larceny by check under $1,200. Ferullo also had five active warrants.

August 22

4:58 a.m. - A caller reported a woman who was passed out by a staircase near the intersection of Chapel and Washington streets and looked confused. The woman was taken into protective custody.
