Two Charged With Robbing Woman At Norwood Train Station
Police say two men attacked a woman and stole her purse.

NORWOOD, MA — Two men face allegations that they attempted to rob a 60-year-old woman at the commuter rail stop at Windsor Garden.
Naeem Miles, 21 of Boston and Adilson Fernandes, 20, of Dorchester, were arrested and charged charged with unarmed robbery, assault and battery on a person 60 or older, and conspiracy. Miles was additionally charged with possession of Class B and D dugs with intent to distribute, according to the Norwood Police Department.
At about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday night, police received a call for a robbery at the train stop. The victim told police that she was standing under the small structure at the platform to avoid the rain when two men standing near her allegedly demanded her purse, punched her several times in the face and pushed her against the wall.

Police say the men also threatened to kill the victim. Miles and Fernandes fled with the purse, but the victim was able to snap a photo of the two before they left.
A search of nearby neighborhoods turned up the two on Broadway after about 2o to 30 minutes of searching. Miles and Fernandes were questioned on Lenox Street and the victim was able to identify the men as the two who robbed her, according to police.

The victim suffered some facial injuries.
During the booking process, officers allegedly found cocaine and marijuana on Miles, along with drug packaging, and a digital scale. Both had several hundred dollars in cash.
