250+ Players Tip Off North Shore Youth Basketball Season With First-Year Sponsor
More than 250 boys and girls in grades 3 through 8 are signed up for the spring season.

BEVERLY, MA — More than 250 boys and girls basketball players from across the region tipped off the new travel league season with a new sponsor this spring.
The fourth season of the league brings 25 YMCA-based teams in four divisions — including an all-girls division — to the league with a mission to build a healthy spirit, mind and body.
This season, the YMCA named Iron Tree Service as the league's official naming partner. The newly named YMCA of the North Shore Iron Tree Service Travel Basketball League will further its commitment to youth development, healthy living, and equity in access for everyone.

"Our travel basketball program is about more than just the game — it's about creating a space where kids grow as athletes and as individuals," said Garrett Coler, Director of Sports Operations at the YMCA of the North Shore. "With Iron Tree's support, we are ensuring that every child, regardless of their family's ability to pay, can participate in a meaningful, team-driven experience that fosters confidence, leadership, and community."
Teams will operate out of five YMCA locations across the region: Cape Ann YMCA (Gloucester), Greater Beverly YMCA, Ipswich Family YMCA, Plaistow Community YMCA, and Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA (Marblehead), drawing players from a wide geographic range and diverse backgrounds.
