Brooksby Village Employees Working Out At Work
Employees are taking advantage of the fitness center at Brooksby Village in the new year.
PEABODY, MA – Brooksby Village employees aren't taking the fitness center – or the personal trainers – for granted.
"I have been doing personal training here at Brooksby Village for the past 5 plus years," said Kristen Desmarais, an occupational therapist at Brooksby Village. "I work on strength, flexibility, endurance and overall health and wellness. Brooksby Village offers the use of its fitness center free of charge and personal training at an affordable cost. Why would I pay more at an outside gym when we employ the best trainers in the world right here at Brooksby Village!"
The Fitness Center at Brooksby Village is free for all employees and classes are $5 per class or $20 per month for unlimited classes for group exercise.

"I can’t say enough great things about the lunchtime 30 minute workout classes," said Nancy Duffy, Brooksby Village Resident Life Manager. "I bring a change of clothes and am in and out of the class in less than an hour. Whether we are focusing or our arms or our core, I love that I can get my workout in at work!"
"We have many who take classes during their lunch break or after work and many who work out in the fitness center before or after work," said Rokia Paone, the fitness manager at Brooksby Village. "So many people have said they love how convenient it is to be able to use a fitness center at work and you can’t beat that it’s free!"
