Crashes Slow 128 in Peabody Thursday Morning
Two accidents on Route 128 south caused backups on Thursday morning.
PEABODY, MA – Two separate car accidents caused delays in Peabody on Route 128 south on Thursday morning. Massachusetts State Police report that no one was injured, and there were no formal lane closures.
The first accident occurred north of Exit 44 around 6:35 a.m. Three cars – a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, and 2011 Honda Pilot, and a 2009 Chevvy Impala – were involved.
The second crash happened at 8:35 a.m. and involved two cars – a 2007 Saab and a 2016 Subaru Outback. The accident occurred around Route 114.
