A stolen mink, an oven fire, and more items from the Peabody Police Log.

- Police responded to a report of kids possibly trying to steal mail on Driscoll Street on Monday afternoon. Officers found three kids playing ding dong ditch, and told them not to do it anymore.
- Someone called police to report that another person was in his house on Santa Ovaia Circle around 5 a.m. on Tuesday and stole $80 from his wallet.
- William Harry Daniels, 29, of Peabody, was arrested from Foster Street Tuesday on charges of assault and battery of a household member.
- Sandra L. Santos, 49, of Peabody, was arrested after a traffic stop on Howley Street Tuesday around 6 p.m. on charges of driving with a suspended license.
- Emmanuel Arias, 21, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of speeding and failing to stop for police on Bartholomew Street on Wednesday around 8 a.m.
- A mink coat was reportedly stolen from Brooksby Village on Wednesday around 3 p.m.
- Police responded to Violet Road on Thursday around 9:30 p.m. on a report of a banging outside a residence. The homeowner looked outside the home and saw that the snowblower was halfway down the driveway. Officers searched the area.
- An oven fire on Central Street was extinguished around 7 a.m. on Friday.
- Officers responded to a parking lot on Lynnfield Street around 8:15 a.m. on Friday on a report of unattended children in the car while the mom was in Dunkin' Donuts.
- Alberto Canabarro, 41, of Peabody, was arrested Friday on charges of obstructing traffic by stopping/loitering, failing to stop and yield, and unlicensed driving after a traffic stop on Harris Street around 10 a.m.
- Gustavo Maradiaga, 32, of Peabody, was arrested Friday on charges of unlicensed driving and failing to stop or yield after a traffic stop on Sylvan Street.
- Officers checked a home on Avalon Drive on Friday around 9 p.m. after a report of blood on his front steps and garage. Police say it appears to be from an animal.
