How Much Snow Fell in Your Town?
According to the National Weather Service, parts of Essex County got as much as 6.5 inches of snow before 6 p.m.

ESSEX COUNTY, MA – The snow started a little later than predicted, but when it started it came on in full force.
The National Weather Services predicts that 3 to 5 inches of snow could accumulate on Saturday night in Essex County. On Sunday there's a chance of snow showers in the afternoon, but little to no snow accumulation is expected.
The NWS predicted on Friday that areas of Essex County could get up to 6 inches of snow on Saturday. The winter storm warning – sent out on Friday afternoon – will be in effect from Saturday at 7 a.m. to Sunday at 1 a.m.

According to unofficial reports through the NWS, Beverly had gotten 6.5 inches of snow as of 5 p.m., Gloucester had 6 inches by 4:30 p.m., Marblehead had 5.8 inches by 5 p.m., and Hamilton had 4 inches by 4 p.m.

The snow on Saturday is likely to start mainly after 11 a.m. according to the NWS local forecast, and again before midnight on Saturday.
