A car reportedly hit the side of McDonald's on Main Street on Monday around 8 p.m. The car was removed from the side of the building and had to be towed.

John Paul Nelson, 42, of Peabody, was arrested on Thursday around 9:30 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and reckless driving. Officers made the arrest after a report of a car driving into a pole on Benevento Circle.
