A man napped while his wife shopped, and other items from the Peabody Police Log.

Police were informed that a U-Haul had been stolen out of Lynn late on Christmas Eve. Sarah J. Palazola, 23, of Danvers, and Rachel Marie Mazola, 22, of Lynn, were arrested on charges of receiving a stolen vehicle.
After a car allegedly attempted to run an officer over near Washington Street, Erildo Rodrigues Dossantos, 33, of Peabody, was arrested on charged of drunken driving, failing to stop for police, reckless driving, assault with a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct on Christmas around 9 p.m.
After a car almost hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Christmas around 11 p.m. on Washington Street, officers detained the vehicle at gunpoint. Joel Medina, Jr., 26, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, failing to stop for police, reckless driving, disorderly conduct, and failing to slow down.

A woman was allegedly jumped outside of a Main Street business last Sunday around 3 a.m. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
Rober W. Neubert, 50, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting last Sunday afternoon from the Northshore Mall.

Officers responded to Andover Street on Thursday afternoon for a report of a man sleeping in the parking lot. The man said he was napping while his wife was shopping.
