  • Tinfoil in a microwave sparked a report of a house fire on Avalon Drive last Tuesday around 5 p.m. Peabody Fire Department took care of the issue.
  • A dog named Ice Cream was reunited with its owner last Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. after it was found on King Street.
  • Police responded to a report of a person trying to cross Route 1 on Thursday around 12:45 p.m.
  • Officers took a report of harassing phone calls into Outback Steakhouse on Andover Street from a blocked number on Friday around 2 p.m.
  • Police took a report of a former employee in a Summit Street business yelling and waving a knife on Friday around 6:30 p.m.
  • A woman in a shirt and no pants was taken to Salem Hospital on Saturday around 10 a.m. after police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Lynnfield Street.
  • Officers took a report of a past shoplifter who took a pair of white shoes worth around $190 on Saturday around 4 p.m.
  • Police responded to a report of a hot tub on fire on a back deck on Sabino Farm Road on Saturday around 6:30 p.m. Peabody Fire put out the fire, which was not a structure fire.
  • Stephen H. Vaccaro, 49, of Salem, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct on Saturday before midnight.
  • Shawn B. Sullivan, 30, of Revere, was arrested on charges of three counts of malicious destruction of property after someone called police to report someone damaging car windows on Sunday around 1 a.m. on Samoset Road.
  • Leandro M. Bacelar, 24, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of disturbing the peace last Monday around 11 p.m. after police were called to Elm Street for reported screaming.
  • Officers responded to a report of someone offering an employee pot at a Newbury Street business on Tuesday around 1 a.m.
  • Robert A. Bouffard, 66, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and a false fire alarm on Tuesday around 7 p.m. after an incident on Central Street.
  • Police arrested Thomas Pettiglio, 49, of Nashua, NH, was arrested on charges of shoplifting after a report of a shoplifter at an Andover Street business on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m.
  • Jason B. Coombs, 36, and Jamison P. Wood, 34, both of Salem, were arrested on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault to rape, unarmed robbery, and assault and battery on a person over the age of 60 or disabled on Wednesday around 2:30 a.m. after police responded to a report of men assaulting a woman on the street on Tremont Street.
  • Thomas Herbert Simpson, 34, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of drugged driving, negligent driving, failure to use care in start/stop/turn/back, and unsafe driving on Wednesday around 12:30 p.m. on Maple Street.
