Jewelry Store Thief Pleads Not Guilty in Salem
A man suspected of robbing a Peabody jewelry store and many more throughout the region pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court yesterday.
A suspected jewel thief has pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court after he was arrested on Friday at a Danvers Inn, according to an article in the Boston Herald.
James Radler, 51, pleaded not guilty in Salem District Court. Radler was charged with with two counts of breaking and entering into a building a night to commit a felony and two charges of malicious destruction of property over $250. The break-in charges each carry a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and the malicious destruction charge of up to 10 years in prison.
The charges are in connection with break-ins all across New England, including one in Peabody.
