Lost Drone, Stolen Sunglasses, and More From the Peabody Police Log
Police made several arrests in late November and early December.

- A caller reported that her father was hit over the head with a crowbar on Judith Road around 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25. According to the police log, the suspect fled in a red pickup truck toward Lowell Street. The incident ended in police arresting a 17 year old on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- Two juveniles, a 16 year old and a 13 year old, were summonsed and released to their grandparents after allegedly shoplifting at an Andover Street business.
- Christopher S. Collins, 44, of Wakefield was arrested from Lynnfield Street on charges of drunken and negligent driving. The arrest was made last Sunday evening.
- Officers reported to a residence on Aborn Street on a call about a disturbance at 7 a.m. Paul J. Ruzzo, 48, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a household member, and assault and battery.
- Jose Luis Vasquez, 26, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a household member just before midnight last Wednesday.
- A caller reported a few 12 year olds banging on her door and smashing her pumpkins on Driscoll Street around 5 p.m. on Thursday, but nothing was found.
- Rodolfo Ovalle, 35, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of unlicensed driving and an equipment violation after a traffic stop on Newbury Street on Thursday around 6 p.m.
- Arthur C. Kirk, Jr., 21, of Tewksbury, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license, a number plate violation, and an equipment violation after a traffic stop Friday morning on Railroad Avenue.
- A man reportedly stole three pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses from a Sylvan Street business on Friday around noon, valued at $1,000.
- An Atlantic Ambulance officer delivered a baby on Friday after someone called 911 to report a woman about to give birth.
- Derek J. Beaulieu, 30, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of two counts of breaking and entering into a car in the night, disturbing the peace, possession of a class C drug after a man reported that someone had entered his car on St. Anns Avenue around 1 a.m. on Saturday.
- Police took a report from a man who was flying his drone at Kennedy Field and lost it on Saturday around 1 p.m., in case someone turned the drone in.
- Christopher Eric Young, 21, of Danvers, was arrested on three warrants and possession of a class A drug after someone called police to report drug violations on Essex Center Drive Saturday around 1 p.m. Brooke Keough, 20, of Danvers, was also arrested of charges of possession of a class A drug.
- A man reported that $2,500 in cash was taken from his car while at McDonalds on Main Street on Saturday around 5 p.m. There are no suspects at this time, according to the police report.
- Franklin Acosta, 37, of Lynn, was arrested on charges of drunken driving after a report of a wrong way driver facing southbound on the northbound side of Route 1 around 4 a.m. on Sunday.
