Peabody Car Crash Closes Lowell Street, Knocks Out Power
Police issued an alert Wednesday afternoon to avoid Lowell Street.
PEABODY, MA – An early morning car crash took down two utility poles, knocking out power to City Hall and the surrounding area, and closing Lowell Street for most of the day Wednesday.
Lowell Street has since reopened, and City Hall used the generator for the majority of Wednesday.
Details on the crash were not immediately available.
