Music and Art Coming Together in Peabody

Peabody, MA - Peabody will become a little more artistic and musical this summer.

The Peabody Cultural Collaborative is partnering with the City of Peabody on the creation of four public pianos to be painted by local artists that will be placed in various locations around Peabody, mostly downtown.

The pianos will provide another outlet for visual public art in the city, as well as encourage passers-by to enjoy and spread beautiful music throughout the downtown area by playing the pianos. This project is an extension of the Outside the Box public art initiative led by the city.
