Police took a report of a note left on a car window on Pleasant Street last Thursday while the driver was parked in the Village Plaza lot. The note said, "Hope you enjoyed your meal!," an insulting name, and had a drawing of a hand giving the middle finger.

Someone reported surfers staying out too long off Devereux Beach on Thursday afternoon. The surfers normal stay out for about 20 minutes, the caller said, but had been out for 45. The caller called back to say they had come in, and stayed out longer than usual because the conditions were good.

Someone tried to walk out of the CVS on Dodge Street with $130 worth of merchandise, mostly stool softeners, last Wednesday around 6 p.m.

Someone called police to report a drunk man dancing on Elliott Street last Tuesday around 11 a.m.

Officers took a report of a person locked in a car wash at Margin and Bridge streets last Tuesday around 9 a.m.

Officers responded to a Jefferson Avenue building on a report of someone that may have climbed into the third-floor bathroom and locked the door last Monday. Police did not find anyone in the bathroom.

Peabody
A driver reportedly threw hot coffee on another driver's lap at a stop sign during a road rage incident near the intersection of Johnson and Lowell streets on Feb. 4, around 7 p.m. Police took a report of the incident, but neither party wanted to pursue charges.

Someone reported food thrown on his car on Foster Street sometime overnight earlier this month, and noted that this was the third or fourth time it happened.
