Peabody Chamber of Commerce Admits New Member

The Peabody Chamber of Commerce admitted Synchronicity Massage as a new member on Dec. 14.

Synchronicity Massage is a private massage studio specializing in therapeutic massage, relaxation, and sports recovery. Owner Cath Fonzo, LMT is a previous medic and nurse who focuses on massage as an effective tool in restorative healthcare.

In an email interview with Patch, Fonzo wrote, "Joining the Chamber for me gives me opportunity to branch out of my community here in Topsfield and into Peabody and the surrounding area. I'm looking forward to building business relationships in another demographic area, with a group of supportive and like minded professionals."

Synchronosity Massage resides in Topsfield, which does not have a local Chamber of Commerce. Deanne Healey is the President & CEO of the Peabody Chamber, and told Patch, "The first order of business for most organizations is to join their local chamber. However there are many situations where a city or town does not have a chamber and they choose to join a neighboring organization in their target market. A chamber provides many more resources to than a stand alone networking group, which is why companies often join multiple groups."
