Peabody Coronavirus Cases, Deaths Slow In Latest Report
In Peabody, 23 percent of the residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered, according to the latest city report.

PEABODY, MA —Ten Peabody residents died after contracting the new coronavirus in the week ended May 11.
While Peabody, with its high concentration of assisted living facilities, remains a COVID-19 hotspot, the latest report from the city offers some signs for optimism. In addition to a decline in the number of deaths from 23 for the week ended May 24, the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 increased to 23 percent of reported cases from 15 percent the previous week.
Peabody also saw a drop in the number of new confirmed cases and hospitalizations.
