Peabody Emergency Parking Ban Declared

PEABODY, MA – The Director of Public Services has declared an Emergency Parking ban to go into effect at 5 p.m. Wednesday for the expected weather.

All vehicles must be removed from public ways. Peabody Police Chief Tom Griffin recently asked for the public's help in keeping the streets clear so police can be more effective at responding to calls.

The Massachusetts Weather Forecast is still uncertain, but Essex County could get hit with as much as 9 inches of snow in the worst case scenario.
