- Officers responded to a report of theft from Lake Street at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. A woman told officers someone took a purse with $8,000 cash while she was moving. The woman told police she will check the boxes at her new home for the purse, and let officers know if it doesn't turn up.

- Someone called police to report four people fighting behind the leather store on Main Street at 10 p.m. According to the police report, it was only an argument.

- One neighbor allegedly threatened to stab another when he complained about the noise on Margin Street close to midnight on Tuesday.

- Police reassured a woman who called police Wednesday morning to say she was concerned for a cat she read about in the newspaper. Officers told her the cat has an owner and is being cared for.
