Reynolds had allegedly committed a probation violation for a firearms charge out of Lynn District Court. Griffin said the State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Squad tracked Reynolds to a Danvers location before finding out he was in Peabody.

"We had some information that Reynolds had a firearm, so we felt the best course of action was to have NEMLEC SWAT come in," said Griffin. Reynolds wasn't there when the team went into the hotel, so police waited in the parking lot.

The arrested are suspected drug distributors, and were possibly selling narcotics out of the hotel room, Griffin said. Police also discovered a 9 mm and a revolver.

"We were fortunate to be able to have NEMLEC SWAT come in and help with the execution of this. It makes things a lot safer for us and safer for the community," said Griffin.
