Peabody Schools Seeking Input for Superintendent Search

PEABODY, MA – The Peabody School Committee is seeking public feedback on the new superintendent search. The Massachusetts Association of School Committees will help lead the search for the new superintendent and assess the candidates.

The City of Peabody and the school district websites have posted a public survey, available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. There will also be a School Committee community forum at city hall on Monday, Feb. 13.

"The Superintendent of Schools plays a critical role in the continuing success of our school district," read a letter from members of the School Committee sent home with students. "We seek an experienced, dynamic educator with outstanding professional and interpersonal skills, experience in school finance and a vision for improving student performance."
