Two Bishop Fenwick athletes will be honored at the event.

PEABODY, MA – Two athletes from Bishop Fenwick will be honored on Friday during ceremonies for the annual Massachusetts Celebration of Girls and Women in Sport Day at Faneuil Hall.

Kerry Kircher, a runner, and tennis and field hockey player; and Samantha Mancinelli, a volleyball and basketball player have been invited to the event for what the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association calls, "a formal but fun recognition day for high school female athletes and the adults who support and inspire them." This year's theme is "Expanding Opportunity." The event is co-sponsored by the MIAA and the New Agenda: Northeast.

During the event, Kircher and Mancinelli will receive certificates for their contributions to Lynnfield and girls sports.
