Here are the veterans events in and around Peabody in December.
Friday, Dec. 16, 5 to 9 p.m., American Legion Christmas Open House at the home of members Dee and Ted Pilkons, in Peabody. RSVP before Dec 12 by calling Dee and Ted 978-532-9141 or Carol 978-531-1167.
Saturday, Dec. 17, 12 p.m., Wreaths Across America will come to the Topsfield Cemetery on Haverhill Road to lay 25 wreaths on veterans graves. For more information, click here.
Sunday, Feb. 5, 2 p.m., Four Chaplains Memorial Service at First Baptist Church, 221 Cabot St, Beverly. Sponsored by American Legion. All are invited to attend. Collation to follow at Herman A. Spear Post 331, 3 Judson St, Beverly. Carol for more info - 978-531-1167. Bring flags and stands.
