The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log:
Monday, Aug. 20
- At 3:13 p.m., a pink car was reported parked in the no parking zone on Littles Lane.
- At 7:28 p.m., a wire was reported down on Joseph Avenue.
- At 7:33 p.m., two kids driving an ATV at a high rate of speed was reported on Russell Street. The kids were gone when police arrived.
- At 7:54 p.m., a juvenile was arrested on a warrant.
- At 11:39 p.m., water balloons were thrown at passing cars on Lowell Street.

- A couch was found in the middle of Lowell Street at 4:25 a.m. DPS was notified.
- At 10:51 a.m., a resident of Benevento Circle reported hearing someone calling for help. Officers found a small child locked in a garage.
