Suitcase Found Outside Bishop Fenwick

PEABODY, MA – Some kind of suitcase was found around Bishop Fenwick on Monday, but police quickly determined it wasn't a threat. Peabody Police and Fire responded, along with a K-9 unit.

State Police, ATG, and Environmental Police also responded.

The package was found on the exterior of the property, said Peabody Detective Michael Crane. He said the package had scrap electrical items that were discarded.

No further information was immediately available.
