A caller reported hearing 12 loud gunshots and seeing flashes outside his home on Washington Street around 10 p.m. on New Year's Eve. Police found fireworks debris outside the home.
Marlon J. Gillard, 35, of Salem, was arrested earlier this month on charges of shoplifting from an Andover Street business.
