
Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze Tuesday that ripped through a styrofoam warehouse in Peabody.
Black, hazardous smoke poured from the building, and fire crews from nearby towns, including Danvers, Salem and Lynnfield, joined in the fight.

It was first reported around 3:30 p.m. at a Fifth Street industrial park.

According to officials, the burning building as well as the neighboring buildings were evacuated.
No injuries were reported.
