  • Joseph M. Bettencourt, 49, of Peabody, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, negligent driving, and failing to stop/yield on Thursday around 9 p.m. after police responded to a car accident on Harris Street.
  • Guadalupe Garza, 44, of Galveston, TX, was arrested on charges of drunken driving, failing to drive within the marked lanes, following too closely, and negligent driving on Thursday around 10 p.m. after police responded to a car accident on Andover Street.
  • Someone called police to report a large navy blue suitcase across the street from the caller's home on Friday around 4:30 p.m. on Warren Street. Police found the suitcase was put out with the trash.
  • Police responded to a report of vandalism to rain gutters on Saturday around noon on Fulton Street.
  • Officers retrieved a bag of what appeared to be drugs from a First Avenue medical office on Saturday around 1 p.m. after the business owner found it in the breezeway.
  • A caller reported a coyote eating prey on Walden Hill Drive on Saturday around 2 p.m. Police found the animal appeared to be a fox.
  • Police responded to a report of a man with a flashlight in a Lowell Street condo parking lot on Sunday around 4:30 a.m. Officers found it was a neighbor looking for their cats.
  • Someone reported an intoxicated person in a Newbury Street business parking lot trying to fight people on Sunday around 5:30 p.m.
  • Officers responded to a report of people yelling in the street on Monday around midnight on Paleologos Street, and discovered it was kids having a water fight.
  • Police responded to a report of a man making mixed drinks in the parking lot of the Post Office on Wallis Street on Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. Officers sent the man on his way.
