Officers trailed the Honda CRV and eventually pulled over the vehicle on High Street, police said.
When asked to identify himself, the driver of the vehicle provided a false name, the Reading PD said.
Later, police determined the driver was Pavone and that his license was suspended. Pavone was placed under arrest, police said.
The Reading PD said that Pavone was escorted to the rear of the vehicle. But while being handcuffed, Pavone shoved offers and fled on foot down High Street and onto the railroad tracks, according to police.
Eventually, Reading PD officers were able to subdue Pavone and place him under arrest, the department said.
While conducting an investigation, the Reading PD said it determined that the vehicle Pavone was driving had been reported as stolen in Lawrence.
The owner of the Honda CRV was able to retrieve his vehicle at Reading Police Headquarters.
