Reading Assessors OfficeData Recollection Program

The following was submitted by the Reading Board of Assessors:

The Reading Board of Assessors has contracted the services of Patriot Properties, Inc. to assist with the recollection of data on approximately 3,600 properties across the Town.

The next phase of the inspection program will be:
THURSDAY, MARCH 7, Killam School District

All personnel engaged in this effort will have proper identification and a letter of authorization from the Board of Assessors.  

The full measure and list of your property includes an exterior visual inspection (and re-measure if necessary) as well as an interior inspection (primarily to examine interior grade, condition, finished living area, bedrooms, etc.).
The Data Recollection Program is a requirement of the state’s Department of Revenue that we must complete in order to attain state certification of all assessments next fiscal year. The department will endeavor to keep the public fully informed through local media and local cable access television.
