Sergeant Frank Duclos Retires

On February 25, 2013, Sergeant Frank Duclos retired from the Reading Police Department after almost 22 years of service to the Town of Reading. Frank had previously worked in Pepperell and Groton prior to becoming a Reading Police Officer on April 14, 1991.

On June 14, 1998, Frank was appointed to the rank of Sergeant. Frank worked the night shift during his entire career. For many years, Frank oversaw the firearms training program in Reading and was always willing to give extra help to any officer who needed it. Frank was also the Officer in Charge and Keeper of the Records for the Breathalyzer System. Frank spent many hours in court testifying in drunk driving cases to ensure these cases were brought to a successful conclusion. Frank was a true asset to the Department and will be truly missed. Best of Luck in retirement Sergeant!
