Car Crash Draws Emergency Response In Reading

READING, MA — Police in Reading warned motorists to seek alternate routes through part of town on Wednesday morning following a car crash.

Police shared word of the crash around 8 a.m. The crash took place at the intersection of West Street and Catherine Avenue in Reading near I-93.

A photo shared from the scene showed a car flipped onto its side.

Police said traffic was being detoured around the site on Wednesday morning. The scene had cleared as of an update around 8:40 a.m.
