The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Tuesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Tuesday, June 11

  • At 8:02 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 9:23 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. A car hit a coyote.
  • At 11:39 a.m., a resident walked into the police station to report a larceny by check.
  • At 4:40 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. The injuries were unknown.

Wednesday, June 12

  • At 7:36 p.m., a Haverhill Street resident reported an unwanted guest.
  • At 9:49 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The accident was minor.

Thursday, June 13

  • At 11:27 a.m., a resident walked into the police station to report that money was taken from her bank account fraudulently.
  • At 7:21 p.m., a Village Street resident reported that a neighbor is growing marijuana in his house. Police are investigating.
  • At 7:52 p.m., a caller reported that her wallet was stolen from the YMCA.
