The Reading DPW is repairing Haverhill Street this week. On-street parking will not be allowed in the construction areas. On Monday and Tuesday, the department began milling on Haverhill and Charles Street. According to DPW Director Jeff Zager, milling means that about an inch and a half of hot top will be removed since the street has been paved several times. On Wednesday, the department will mill Haverhill Street and adjust castings. They hope to be finished milling Haverhill Street by Thursday and will patch and fill cracks throughout Thursday and Friday. <a href="http://readingma.gov/Pages/ReadingMA_Engineering/construction_updates" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Click here</a> to see the entire roadwork schedule for the rest of the month.
