What type of weather in Reading in store for this weekend?

Sunday is Father’s Day, but it doesn’t look as though dads in Reading will be getting good weather this year.
The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with showers likely and a possible thunderstorm after 7 a.m. The chance of rain is 70 percent.
The chance of rain is expected to continue into Sunday night, with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight, the NWS said.

Here’s your forecast for the remainder of Friday and the weekend from the National Weather Service:
- Friday: Isolated showers before 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
- Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm after midnight.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 73. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.
- Saturday Night: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5 a.m. Increasing clouds, with a low around 59. South wind 5 to 9 mph becoming light after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
- Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 7 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 76. South wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
- Sunday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before midnight. Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
