Five Things to Know Today: Feb. 20

Today is Wednesday, Feb. 20. Here are five things to know today:

1. The weather. The temperature will reach 37 degrees today with a low of 14. Expect partly cloudy skies.

2. Mask making workshop. Stop by Creative Arts to learn the process that goes into casting masks in latex. Kids will get to decorate and keep their own! This is a day-long workshop and costs $65 and starts at 10 a.m.

3. Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys. Boston-based singer-songwriter and children's performer Vanessa Trien and her her band will perform at Reading Memorial High School at 10 a.m. Tickets are $6 if you buy them in advance or $8 at the door. 4. Meet the artist. Fred Peters is a Reading Resident and artist. He has worked for Walt Disney as an animator and his work will be displayed at the Reading Senior Center. Meet Fred today at the senior center 10 a.m. Refreshments will be served.
